Glass Repairs and Renovations

We provide replacement glazing and renovation services for existing commercial properties and active job sites, from a single cracked or fogged unit to a full storefront renovation. Work is scoped around the building's operating hours so occupied properties stay secure and weathertight throughout.

Existing commercial glazing needs replacement for a few common reasons: a failed insulated glass unit, visible as fogging or condensation between the panes, damaged or broken tempered glass, or a storefront that's simply being renovated as part of a tenant turnover. Site review and accurate measurement up front are what keep replacement glass from becoming a second visit.

Most repair calls start with a site visit to review the damage and measure the opening — insulated units, tempered glass and storefront systems all need slightly different handling. Once the replacement glass or component is confirmed and ordered, we schedule the repair around the building's operating hours so the opening stays secure the whole time, and install and seal the replacement to match the surrounding system.

Glass and material options.

Insulated glass units

When an insulated unit fails, visible as fogging or condensation between the panes, the whole sealed unit is replaced rather than repaired, since the seal itself can't be restored.

Tempered glass

Broken or damaged tempered glass is replaced with new tempered glass matched to the original thickness and size, since it can't be cut or reworked after tempering.

Sealants and glazing tape

Weatherproofing materials used to seal replacement glass into the existing frame, matched to the original glazing method so the repair performs like the rest of the system.

What's involved.

Insulated glass unit replacement

Fogged or failed insulated units are replaced without disturbing the surrounding frame where possible. We measure the existing unit to match the replacement's size and makeup exactly.

Tempered glass replacement

Broken or damaged tempered glass is replaced promptly to keep the opening secure. Since tempered glass can't be cut after manufacturing, we confirm exact dimensions before ordering.

Storefront renovations

Existing storefront glazing is updated or replaced as part of a broader renovation or tenant improvement. This can range from a single pane to a full storefront face.

Site review and measurement

Each site is reviewed and measured before ordering, so replacement glass fits correctly the first time. We also flag any related frame or sealant issues found during the review.

How we work with you.

Direct communication

You deal directly with the team doing the work, from your first drawings review through to final installation — no layers to go through for a straight answer.

Field measurement, not guesswork

Openings are measured on site before ordering, not assumed from drawings, so what arrives fits the first time.

Scoped to your schedule

Work is sequenced around your construction or occupancy schedule, whether that's a single trade window or a multi-phase rollout.

One point of contact

Supply and installation run through the same team, so there's one place to go if anything needs adjusting.

Glass Repairs and Renovations FAQs.

Response time depends on glass availability and the size and type of glass involved, but we treat broken or unsecured storefront glazing as a priority since it's a security and weather-protection issue for the building. Call us and we'll assess the situation and give you a realistic timeline, including advice on securing the opening in the meantime if the replacement glass needs to be ordered.
